We accept all major credit cards (VIsa, Mastercard & AMEX) and Paypal. As well as ApplePay.
When will my order ship and will I receive an order confirmation?
After a successful checkout, you will receive an email confirmation. Please check your SPAM folder if you do not receive. We will also give you an indication of delivery schedules.
How much is shipping and will I receive a shipping confirmation?
We charge standardised rates via Royal Mail UK for shipping and handling within the UK.
We offer both international rates, you will be able to view the options during checkout.

Do you offer same-day shipping?
We do not currently offer same day shipping but we're looking into this as a future offer, this may only be within the London M25 area.
Do you offer international shipping?
We do offer international shipping, you will be able to view the options during checkout. Any additional customs or duties fees are at the expense of the customer. bean is not liable for any additional fees incurred after shipment.
Can I ship to a P.O. Box?
We will not accept orders shipping to a P.O box. Any orders will be rejected and refunded.
Do you ship chocolate during warm weather or to warmer parts of the country/world?
We select the appropriate packing materials such as heat-tempered, insulated boxes and frozen gel packs to ensure that your order arrives in perfect condition. This is as standard for UK and International orders, we will monitor weather conditions and make the appropriate decision based on this. If your order arrives damaged or has been affected by heat, we will require proof of the damage and we will either replace or refund your order (your choice). You have 14 days to report any damaged goods from the date you received your order to contact us at email@example.com. Replacements or refunds will not be accepted after.
What are other restricting temperature concerns?
This is a tricky question. Chocolate confectionery is subject to temper and may alter from their original form under unstable conditions (heat). We cannot accept responsibility or offer any guarantees as we cannot control temperature conditions. If only we could!

What do the percentages mean on each bar of chocolate?
All of our bars contain a percentage of cacao/cocoa butter, this will be listed on our product labels. Chocolate percentages are down to personal preference. For example, our milk chocolate base recipe is 50% cocoa solids giving it a rich and full flavour. The same goes for our dark chocolate at 60% cocoa solids. We will soon offer higher percentage bars which are stronger and more intense (but utterly delicious).
How long will my chocolate stay fresh?
Our bars are packaged in paper lined foil with an outer box carton, they are not airtight but they will stay fresh for months. We give our bars a standard 6-month expiration date which you can find on the back of your bars.
How should I store chocolate?
There is a miss-conception you should store your chocolate in the fridge, whilst this is down to personal preference, it alters the taste and consistency of the chocolate. We suggest storing your bean bars out of direct sunlight and heat. However, we feel our white chocolate is best chilled.
Does your chocolate contain soy lecithin or preservatives?
No... and they never will. Our chocolate recipes have been perfected with key base ingredients which do not contain emulsifiers, preservatives, palm oil or any nasties. We feel very strongly about that and we will never include such things. That's our promise.
Is your chocolate gluten-free?
Absolutely. All of our bars are proudly gluten-free. If we ever produce a bar that isn't, we'll make this very clear on our packaging.
Does your chocolate contain dairy?
Some... all of our milk chocolate contains skimmed milk. Our dark chocolate is proudly dairy free. We're working on a milk chocolate recipe that is dairy free but we're not quite ready.
Do your chocolate bars contain nuts?
All of our bars either contains nuts or has been produced in an environment where nuts are present. There may be traces of nuts in your bars, even if no obvious nuts are visible. We cannot guarantee our bars are nut free and we will not be held responsible should anyone with allergies consume our bars. All of our bars are packaged to say either 'CONTAINS NUTS' or 'MAY CONTAIN NUTS'. Please always check first.
Are your bars suitable for vegans?
Our milk chocolate is made from cows milk and our bacon milk chocolate contains real pork so no, not all of our bars are suitable for vegans. However, our dark chocolate bars are suitable.
Do you offer diabetic chocolate?
Interesting question, we're working on it. We believe we can make a truly delicious product for diabetics, I mean, why should they miss out.

Do you make charitable contributions in the UK/Internationally?
We're working on our own in-house charitable channel at the moment. We're not quite there yet but we will release more information on this soon. With that said, the short answer is yes, we will.
